So, I got an early diagnosis of cancer.
My Cologuard test came back positive. I have to wait till March for the colonoscopy to confirm the diagnosis.
I haven't blogged in 12 years. Maybe it's time to start that up again.
First, Call of Duty is over for me and has been for a long, long time. I played CoD with my brother (who's now an invalid after a massive heart attack) and my friend Matt, God rest his soul, who died of cancer six years ago.
It was a rough couple of years leading into the 2020s. My wife had cancer (still with me, thank God, on her third bout with cancer now). Her Mom passed away. My Mom passed away. My Dad passed away. (My wife had a massive heart attack, too, the day of his funeral.) My friend Matt passed away. My dog died. All of it within 18 months. And my brother got pancreatic cancer a couple years ago. (He's still kicking, doing better than I am, in fact.)
So, 2026 is starting out like a dumpster fire. It can only improve from here, right? Right?!?
