Morning Vent, 4 October 2009 (ODST Edition)

So, last night, we finished ODST co-op campaign on Easy. There were some complications. On occasion, one of our three man party was left a pedestrian due to a lack of vehicles. Overall, the campaign, for obvious reasons, had a very halo 3-esque feel. And it wasn't all that much shorter than the Halo 3 campaign, either.

The biggest fail in the game is ammo and weapon scarcity. Surely, there must be some mechanism for getting more ammo & weapons. It might be that we haven't learned the tricks yet, since a couple of times during the game we were able to unlock UNSC weapon caches which resupplied us. The VISR menu is still tricky for me, mostly because of the XIM360 KB/mouse adapter. I haven't memorized which keyboard key corresponds to the game controller buttons, except for the basic combat buttons which I leave the same on every single game, as much as possible. I'm not going to take the time to do it, either, since ODST, like Halo 3 before it, is going to have a very short shelf life for me.
