Modern Warfare 2: Salvage Anti-Boosting/Anti-Camping?....NOT!!!!

The big CoD news, of course, is the announcement of the 'Resurgence' map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The DLC is scheduled to hit Xbox Live on 3 June 2010, and, according to this interview of Robert 'Fourzerotwo' Bowling by Major Nelson, ''Resurgence' will follow the 'Stimulus Package' by offering three new maps and 2 recycled CoD4 maps. Today's featured vid is an MW2 Free-for-all Tactical Nuke quest by TetraNinja. WePlayCoD: New Call of Duty: Black Ops details. (Thanks to WePlayCoD for the tweeted link!) The synopsis of the OXM article indicates Treyarch revealed no news about multiplayer, tho, except for the previously hinted 2-4 player co-op mode.
FoxBusiness: Fox & Friends anchor thinks Call of Duty: Black Ops will surpass Modern Warfare 2 in sales.
DigitalSpy: Activision registers 'Warfare' domains: Advanced Warfare, Space Warfare, Secret Warfare, and Future Warfare. The article states that each domain was registered with two sequels each!

   I'm really pleased 2 of my faves - Half-life and Half-life 2 - made the top 10. I guess Modern Warfare 2 deserves a spot on there in terms of sheer commercial success. But I think Call of Duty 4 was more influential in terms of gameplay innovations than MW2. But that's just me.
