GungirlTM is packing two extra bullets...
[Another vent brought to you through that Wonder of Science, the Blogger.com autopost. As this post makes it way through cyberspace to your electron-stimulated screens, I'm likely hauling ass South for a well-deserved, if brief, respite from work and the beastly heat of the Capitol Region.]
I'm probably going to do a modest phone upgrade. My current phone doesn't get very good reception where I work, and I'm hoping an upgrade will improve on that. I don't want to change providers, but it may ultimately be necessary for emergencies... We'll see how things progress.
If I'm lucky and awake, I'll be going online Sunday for some Blacklight: Tango Down multiplayer. I'm eager to see whether my initial positive impression of the game holds up. With luck, maybe Matt64 will be able to join me online Sunday or Monday, his schedule permitting.
The other day I blogged about my outright lust for the eternally in progress Half-life 2 mod, Black Mesa: Source. In keeping with my love of all things Half-life (except maybe for Counter-Strike), I've linked a fan-made Half-life vid, Beyond Black Mesa, in the main blog. When I saw this vid yesterday, I was hoping and praying that it was a teaser for a new Half-life 2 mod that was going to be released. The editing is top notch, and it left me totally drooling for more - but to play the game. Sad to say, it's not a game. But we can dream.
Today's featured Modern Warfare 2 vid is some Sandy Ravage Free-for-all goodness, all captured from his livestream. I used to watch the livestream from time to time, usually on Thursdays, but now, I'm working every Thursday, so I'm reduced to what he puts up on his YouTube channel or links on his Justin.TV site. The second MW2 is a killstreak-less nuke with the underwhelming F2000 assault rifle by iPwnstar4hire. Moving on...
