GungirlTM Renata 'Peach' Daninsky should keep

Our visit to Mom last night found her sick again from the antibiotics. A lot of her recovery at this point depends on her will to get better and work towards that. Physical therapy, under the best of circumstances, is excruciatingly difficult. We're hoping and praying she gets better.
One of the byproducts of blogging for me has been posting more news links than I actually have time to read. Blue manages to usually add commentary on a lot of news items, which I find just amazing. But, ironically, I miss a lot of details in the content which I link here. Luckily, PSXteme did notice that Pachter has opined that Call of Duty: Black Ops 'doesn't have a prayer' of exceeding Modern Warfare 2's sales. Keeping in mind that this is the same guy who thought Red Dead Redemption wouldn't sell well, you have to take this prediction with a grain of salt. It's not very logical of me, but it makes me want to run out and reserve, like, 10 copies just to prove this guy wrong. I don't have any real reason to dislike Pachter, but I find myself disliking him more and more as time goes on.
Take this opinion with a grain of salt, too: I think Call of Duty: Black Ops is going to be bigger than Modern Warfare 2 was. The gameplay of World at War is, in many respects, superior to CoD4 and even Modern Warfare 2. Despite their misstep on the whole vehicles issue, I think Treyarch did a better job with World at War of making a balanced multiplayer game than Infinity Ward did with MW2. They certainly delivered in terms of DLC, too. If they bring those positive attributes forward to Black Ops, it's going to be a blockbuster.
Today's first vid is the always entertaining (to me) Ken Burton putting the M4A1 thru its paces. I've always loved the M4A1, tho I wish it had a teensy bit more oomph! than it seems to have. The second vid is GoldGlove doing a non-related commentary while he plays CTF on Trailer Park. Can't say the commentary is very relevant, but the gameplay was fun to watch. Moving on...
