GungalTM of the Day
Missus Joker and I are both still fighting bad head colds, so we're trying to take it as easy as possible. A lot of chores are being pushed to the back burner, and we're concentrating just on the essential holiday-related ones. Tomorrow, we'll have our first Thanksgiving together, as well as our first as husband and wife, and we'll also celebrate the one-year anniversary of our very first date.
As is often the case with big holidays, I'm moved to contrast how happy I am now compared to prior holidays. Just two years ago, I was unemployed, sick, and alone. Now, I have a job with a promising future, I'm healthy, and I'm married to the Love of my Life, my beloved Effie!! Truly, that's being blessed beyond the ability of mere words to describe.
Not much gaming news to relate, as I've still not had a chance to test drive Modern Warfare 3 on the Xbox or the Wii. Hoping to do that eventually, lol. Yesterday was a busy day, for sure, and it ended with an amazing meal my Effie cooked up and some really great pumpkin pie Nan cooked up for Thanksgiving!! Moving on...
