My Sweet Gal had work hours scheduled for yesterday, so we were rather anxiously watching the storm track for Hurricane Sandy. Conditions weren't too bad when she was scheduled to take off for work, so she was able to get in and back OK. I stayed near home, nervously waiting for her texts to come through that she was all right at work. Not sure what today will bring, as the hurricane was supposed to hit its max overnight. Fingers crossed that we're still in one piece, lol.
Dinner Sunday afternoon with Mom and Pop was great, with an abundance of shrimp that we were all able to enjoy. We had enough to bring home for Ev, who had to work overnight Sunday night.
