GungalTM of the Day

GungalTM has spiffy boots, but no trigger finger discipline...

Wonderful to be home with my honey!!! Not sure whether my Pretty Gal will have work hours today or not. If she does, I'll try to head across the Hudson to visit the folks to see how they're doing. If not, we might get a chance to go together. If time permits, I'll try to get online and play a bit, as well. We'll see how it goes.

Incidentally, there's a mention of Nuketown 2025 in the links today. There was quite an uproar when this per-order bonus map was pulled out of its 24/7 playlist abruptly on Sunday-Monday. Some players were apparently interrupted mid-match for a playlist update. When they got back on, the Nuketown 2025 playlist, well, had been nuked. It seems that Treyarch intended this to be a mere promotion for a few days and were going to yank it all along, except for special promotions. (Tho, they said rather annoyingly that you could play Nuketown 2025 in private matches all you want... Really? Gee, thanks.) Luckily, the pitchforks and torches that were briefly ablaze were put away as the powers that be backpedaled and allowed Nuketown 2025 to go into a CQB map rotation instead.
I wanted to mention that, despite all the stereotypes in videogames, there are some interesting quirks about Black Ops 2. Michael Rooker does the voice acting for non-player character Harper. In one scene of my single player game, my character is given the task of taking out one of a pai of sentries, while Harper gets the other. Well, I got distracted, missed, and Harper took both shots. As we advanced, Harper said, 'Thanks for nothing.' It was a perfect, in-character line of dialog, and it's cool that they programmed that in to the game.
Today's featured vid is also of me, running around rather haplessly on the luxury yacht on Highjacked. Not much in terms of gameplay, but good for a couple of laughs. Moving on...
