Morning Vent, 17 March 2011 (St. Patrick's Day)

    Short work week this week, thank God, so I can be back to my Pretty Gal quick! So, as this posts, the first night is about half done, and I'm missing her real bad!! I love you, my darling!! I'll be home as quick as I can!
    Today is Saint Patrick's Day. 
    Today is also Matt and Patty's wedding anniversary, so a very Happy Anniversary to him and his ever-patient missus!! Moving on...

Morning Vent, 6 January 2010 (The Epiphany)

  

   Today is the Feast of the Epiphany, a celebration of the adoration of the infant Jesus by the Magi. Sadly, my best friend Matt's Mom passed away yesterday. God, rest her soul, I'll keep her and Matt and his family in my prayers.
    I received an email from Photronics saying they had hired someone else. Ah, well. Gotta keep plugging and look for the next opportunity.

With Reibo and Matt64's help, I transitioned over to hardcore last night on Modern Warfare 2. Matt64 and I had a good gaming night last night except for 1 or 2 notably bad games. On a few MW2 maps, especially Highrise and Wasteland, Matt64 and I always seem to have our asses handed to us in a basket. On a few games last night with 3 bars or less, the enemy always seemed to spot Matt64 and me first, occasionally even tho client-side it seemed we saw them and fired first. On hardcore, of course, there's no killcam, so Matt64 and I couldn't compare.
