Vosty3 has asked ThatGuyWhoCamps to put together a 4-part round-table discussion with promiment CoD YouTube directors for a session of brainstorming on what would make Call of Duty: Black Ops' multiplayer most successful: Part 1; Part 2; Part 3; and Part 4. It's an interesting discussion, for the most part. It rehashes a lot of common complaints about perks, killstreaks, and equipment in Modern Warfare 2. Speaking as a distinctly mediocre (and campy) player, I think most of the bitching is overblown. Plus, what do complaints from highly accomplished players really mean? How many of the people who shelled out their $60 are uber-players? If MW2 had depended on these super-skilled individuals for its revenue, it would never have gotten off the ground. My own current aversion to MW2 is based on most of my former gaming crew moving on to other games, not because I think the ARs have too much recoil or because Commando's lunge range is too long.
