Reibo and I finally got a chance to get Sonic during our shopping extravaganza yesterday. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster, onion rings, and Cheddar Peppers (jalapeno poppers) with a diet Cherry Lime-aid. It was delicious. And, best of all, by answering a trivia question, we got 50% off!
For New Year's, I'm going to try my hand at making my own Irish Cream. I'm going to go with this recipe this time:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 2/3 cups Irish whiskey
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
We'll see how that works out.

We've had Sonics down here in Wilmington, NC. I like the breakfast burrito and their mini-sundaes.

I'm not sure if my Sonic is open for breakfast. (It closes at 10PM, for pete's sake!) Next time we drive thru, I'm checking that out. Thanks for reading and commenting!
