The Xbox Live Modern Warfare 2 playlists...

• The Modern Warfare 2 PC Dedicated Server Petition is close to 180,000 signatures. The IW reps totally blew off mention of the petition in last night's Best Buy forum chat. (See links below.)
  
• I snapped a screenshot (lo-rez, sorry) of the playlists while watching some dude get his ass kicked on Xbox Live.

• GameSpy collected MW2 videos, including map-related tips.
  
• 1Up's forums have a thread asking for 1Up forum members' reactions to Modern Warfare 2 thus far. Here's a slice: paolo iii Legendary_Warrior says, "i'm not purchasing this because it's a pro-imperialist homophobic murder simulator." Judging from paolo iii's forum avatar, he has some issues.
• While we're on the subject of videos, CVG claims to have found a leaked MW2 TV spot on YouTube.
  
• Courtesy of BASHandSlash and gamer LaGgY_42o here's the chat log from yesterday's Best Buy live chat with Infinity Ward devs/reps. A lot of questions were simply dodged.
• Also on BASHandSlash, Activision has an educational guide for parents to help them optimize the video game experience of their children. Most hilarious quote from the article: "Activision is committed to providing consumers with guidelines and information to help them determine which video games are most appropriate for their families," said Mike Griffith, president and CEO of Activision Publishing.

• A quartet of Kotaku Left 4 Dead 2 news links. A linked video provides a comparison with the censored and uncensored versions of the PC L4D2 demo. The bowdlerized version was made for distribution in Australia. Kotaku has the back of Aussie gamers, tho, with an article describing a backdoor method of restoring violent content to the demo. If you pre-order L4D2, and you already own the Orange Box, you can get L4D character Bill's Special Forces beret for your Team Fortress 2 characters to wear. Lastly, Kotaku has a reply from Valve on the level names found hidden in the demo code. They're not the names of DLC campaigns to follow, they're only place holders.
• G4TV has an Left 4 Dead 2 interview blowout with Valve devs.
  
• Meanwhile, the Left 4 Dead 2 demo is available to all Xbox Live and PC users.
  
• The luscious Jessica Chobot has an IGN Daily Fix discussing Xbox Live console bans last week, among other things. Disappointingly, she keeps her top on during the whole vid.
• Voodoo Extreme has another preview of Russian apocalyptic shooter Metro 2033. GameSpot's first look was linked in the 30 October blog. IGN also has a Metro 2033 article up.
• BraveNewGamer has a link to an alleged Bad Company 2 gameplay vid. It has tanks.
  
• Amazing-looking Half-life mod Natural Selection 2 on Shacknews. The mod mixes FPS and RTS, but it's the screenshots which immediately pulled me in.
